Marc Montserrat

CEO, DNA Script

Marc Montserrat is a C-suite leader and company builder with over 20 years driving growth across life sciences, diagnostics, and biopharma. He joins companies at inflection points, often as first commercial hire, and drives them through transformation to major outcomes, including M&A exits totaling more than $1.4B in aggregate shareholder returns.

He began in operations and corporate development at Siemens and Almirall, then moved into biopharma marketing at Genentech (Roche). At Ariosa Diagnostics, he built the international commercial organization from the ground up through Roche’s $625M acquisition. He later helped scale BioCeryx and Omniome (acquired by PacBio for $800M), then built Deepcell’s commercial platform from concept to revenue as Chief Business Officer. In 2015, he co-founded Splice Bio, a Barcelona-based gene therapy platform spun out of Princeton IP. He is currently CEO of DNA Script, leading a full-scale strategic transformation of the synthetic biology company.

Marc holds an MBA from Wharton and an MSc in Industrial Engineering from UPC Barcelona.
